Wind Creek Montgomery has partnered with AMBUCS Montgomery River Region chapter and AmTryke to facilitate the AmTryke adaptive bicycle program for people with special needs. Wind Creek Montgomery was able to donate $3,572.66 to this worthy cause. The mission of the National AMBUCS non-profit organization is to create mobility and independence for people with disabilities, and AmTryke helps them do that. Nearly every one of the 144 AMBUCS chapters chooses to carry out their mission, at least in part, by providing AmTryke therapeutic tricycles to people with special needs in their community. Through this donation, AMBUCS was able to provide for 7 small bikes and 1 large bike.
One of those bikes went to a special recipient, A.J. Thanks to AMBUCS and the donation from Wind Creek Montgomery, A.J. will finally be able to learn to ride a bike along with his little brother. His mother, Candice Peden, said “Thank you Wind Creek and their customers for their generosity.  We appreciate the donation of the bike and know that you have done us a huge favor in this gift.”
